Forgive me for not seeing that I am evil

Forgive me for believing in my own righteousness

Forgive me for not seeing that I am unable to fix my problems

Forgive me for not believing you are the only one who can fix my problems

Forgive me for not having a hunger and thirst for righteousness

Forgive me for not receiving from you the power to be righteous

Forgive me for my lack of passion to see your will done on earth as in heaven

Forgive me for passion to have my own will done

Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy on me a sinner.

Lord give me a passion for seeking you as the answer to everything in my life
