Prayer when feeling weak

Lord, I have become more and more aware of my weakness, sin, and foolishness.

I feel like a person playing in the super bowl of life whose skills are at the flag foot ball league in elementary school.

I should have more skills and wisdom, but somehow I fail to have them and I get sacked over and over again.

Lord have mercy on this sinner today.

Without your grace I have no hope at all.

But with your grace I can still hope

Thank you for your grace

Lord today make be wiser than I have been

Lord today make be more righteous than I have been

Lord help me adapt to the changes of life

Grant to me the ability to do what you have called me to do

Make up for my short comings with your great strength.

For your glory and my good do these things

Amen

Norm,

Last Sunday you mentioned the importance of child evangelism. As if we needed another illustration of the importance of such a ministry, Liliana Alverez submitted the following after recently visiting CRPC's church planting mission in Medellin.

"Four weeks ago a 9 year old girl came to the church, she gave her life to the Lord that day. The pastors expressed that this young girl had been touched by God in a deep way. Two days after her conversion she calls pastor Adan and asks if she could bring her 10 year old brother to see him. Pastor Adan says yes, so she brings her brother and Pastor Adan shares the gospel with her brother and he gives his life to the Lord. Both siblings go home and share with their parents their new found faith. Pastor Adan gets a call from the girl asking if he could please come to the house to speak to her parents, the mother speaks to Adan and asked if he could please be at their home within the next hour. Adan visits the family and shares the gospel with the father, and he gives his life to the Lord. The mother then hears the gospel and also receives Christ. Within 2 days the whole family is saved. PRAISE THE LORD!"

Just thought it might interest you.
