Lord and Lover

Make me hunger and thirst after righteousness in the middle of this culture that denies that righteousness exists or is of value if it did. Help my tastes not become simply the tastes of the world.

Help me not to get distracted by the insanity. Insanity seems to become normal. Disorder seems to be more common than order. To seek sanity and order seems insane. Yet, I must not lose my vision of being sane. Lord, let me not accept insanity.

Lord, help me today to seek to become love. To become an incarnation of love. To become an incarnation of peace. So much insanity done in your name and by people who should be sane.
