Prayer of Adoration

Lord who made heaven and earth

You who are necessary for the Cosmos both in its creation and its preservation

You who designed all order and life

You who are reason, logic, and love all in one

I adore you.

I do not adore you the way I should. I confess my adoration is far less than what it should be. Yet, I do adore you and ask that my adoration for you grow. You are worhty of total adoration. If only I could get my vision of you right. Help me do that.

Help me with the fear that I enter into today with.

There are many things that need to be done and I am not sure I can do them all.

I will end today not getting everything done I should do or at least what I think I should do.

I wonder how you will look at this day. What things do you think I should do? Are they on my list?

Let me try to always have your list on my list. Ideally your list would be my list.

Help me in my weakness and give me grace to face my failures.

Give me comfort about what I have lost.

Let me see all you have given me.

Lord I adore you today for loving me more than I could ever hope.
